Meet the Team

Oliver Miles
Managing Director Oliver has been in the Estate Agency business since 1973 and is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors since 1975. He was born in Swanage and has a well regarded reputation built on high quality and honest advice on the local property market.

Yvette Miles
Director Yvette is Oliver’s wife and has been a Director since 1991. She is qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist but now assists with public relations and beach hut sales.

Jacqueline Olsen
PA / Secretary / Lettings Manager Jackie joined the firm in 2010, was born and educated in Swanage. She is enthusiastic, hard working and has a great deal of local knowledge.

John Fox
Sales Negotiator
John joined the team in July 2019 and offers over 40 years of experience in the property industry including planning, architecture and land development.

He is a Rotarian, a very personable, cricket loving character, hard working and with a great sense of humour.cricket-lovinghard-working

David Angood
Sales Negotiator
David joined Oliver Miles as a sales negotiator in June 2019. Before moving to the South Coast he had been in the office furniture industry for over 30 years holding national sales and sales director roles but is enjoying the challenge of estate agency.

David likes nothing more than achieving a “win win” solution in every negotiation.

Sam Carter
Sales Negotiator
Sam is delighted to have joined the team in January 2021. As a non-practising solicitor and with 20 years' experience in estate agency, she lives in Swanage and will be working part time as a sales negotiator.

Enthusiastic and friendly, she specialises in ensuring that sales proceed as smoothly as possible.

Selling with Oliver Miles Estate Agents

We will arrange a mutually convenient time to inspect your property, measure and take internal and external photographs. We then prepare particulars/brochures.

Details will then be e-mailed, or posted, to all potential buyers. We will also contact “hot” buyers by phone. We advertise all our properties on Rightmove and OnTheMarket throughout the UK.

We accompany prospective buyers on viewings and provide you with feedback. We will then negotiate on your behalf to achieve the best price. Once a sale is agreed upon, our team keep the transaction on track, liaising between the various parties. This enables your sale to be completed as swiftly and smoothly as possible.
